Numeric Cannon

Can you land the perfect shot and the perfect total… with one ball left? What you do in the game Numeric Cannon turns math into a shooting puzzle. You aim and fire numbered balls at targets with totals. Some levels add operators and tools—like +/- gates, splitters, reflectors, conveyors, and “wild” tiles—so your shot can change value or travel a smarter path. Your loop: Read the target totals. Check your upcoming number balls. Aim a shot that hits the right total (sometimes after passing through a gate). Chain hits to build combos. Clear the board with as few wasted shots as possible. Controls Desktop Drag the mouse to aim. Release/click to fire. Click buttons for utilities (wild tile, splitter placement, etc.) if your level offers them. Mobile Drag your finger to aim. Lift to fire. Tap utility icons to place or activate special tiles. How scoring and progress work You score by: hitting exact totals, keeping a combo going (consecutive correct hits), avoiding wasted shots. Many stages get harder by adding motion: drifting targets, moving lanes, or tighter angles. Items and mechanics (only what you see) Depending on the level, you may see: Operator gates: add or subtract as the ball passes through Reflectors: bank shots safely Splitters: one shot becomes two paths Wild tiles: flexible helper for awkward totals Conveyors: move targets or carry balls into lanes Tips to play better (11 tips) Solve backward. Start from the target total, then decide what number you need before the gate. Use a “small number” as your saver. Keep 1, 2, or 5 for last-second fixes. Spend big numbers early if you must pass a subtraction gate later. Bank shots on simple diagonals. Fancy angles drift more and miss more. Lead moving targets. Aim half a target-width ahead if the lane is sliding. Place splitters where paths stay clean. A splitter that creates two messy lanes is a trap. Do combo shots in pairs. Plan “this hit sets up the next,” not one hit at a time. Don’t panic-fire. Missing a combo hurts more than waiting one second to aim. Use wild tiles for remainders, not main totals. They’re best as rescue tools. If division pads exist, feed them even numbers to avoid awkward results. Coach voice: Aim slow. Fire once. Be right. Tiny helpful line: If you keep landing “almost” totals, stop changing everything. Keep the same shot path and swap which ball you use. One clean path is easier than five new plans. Levels, hints, and practice If your version offers hints, use them as nudges: hints are best when you already tried once they should tell you where to think, not give the whole answer If you can change pace/difficulty, start slower until your aiming feels steady, then speed up. Common problems & quick fixes Drag aiming feels off: reset browser zoom to 100% and try fullscreen. Shots don’t fire: click/tap directly on the play area to “wake” input. Stutter on moving levels: close extra tabs and reduce effects if settings exist. No sound: click once to enable audio, then adjust volume. parent note: Numeric Cannon builds mental math + planning + hand control. Break idea: stop after 5 levels or one big combo run. 5) Quick Info: Platform: Browser (HTML5) Genre: Math puzzle / aiming strategy Age fit: 7–13 Session length: 8–20 minutes Controls: Drag to aim, release to shoot; tap utilities 6) FAQ: Q1: Do I need fast math? Not really. Planning your path matters more than speed. Q2: How do I hit exact totals with gates? Work backward from the target and subtract/add what the gate will change. Q3: What’s the best number to save? Small numbers (1, 2, 5) fix totals without ruining setups. Q4: Why do my bank shots miss? Your angle is too sharp. Use simple diagonals. Q5: My aim feels wrong on mobile. Fullscreen + zoom 100% usually fixes alignment. Q6: The game won’t accept input. Tap/click inside the game screen once, then try again.
